About Easel
Easel is building the next generation of web infrastructure.
We're creating a globally distributed platform for deploying websites, applications, and AI workloads to the edge, with modern developer experience and none of the lock-in, surprise pricing, or vendor games that have become common across the industry.
We're early, shipping fast, and focused on building infrastructure developers can trust.
About the role
We're looking for a co-founder. A partner.
Someone who wants to help build Easel from an early product into a durable company.
The right person could come from many backgrounds: engineering, product, growth, operations, or previous startup experience. What matters most is a desire to build, a bias toward action, and a belief that developers deserve better infrastructure.
You'll work directly alongside the founder to shape the product, the company, and the future of Easel.
What you'll do
- Help define the long-term vision and strategy for Easel
- Own a major part of the company based on your strengths and interests
- Work directly with customers to understand problems and shape solutions
- Make high-conviction decisions with limited information
- Help build the team, culture, and operating principles of the company
- Ship relentlessly
You might thrive if you
- You've built products, teams, or companies from zero to one
- You're comfortable operating without a roadmap or playbook
- You care deeply about ownership, autonomy, and long-term thinking
- You're excited by difficult technical and business problems
- You want to build a company, not just work for one
- You're based in New York or willing to relocate
Bonus
- Experience with developer tools, infrastructure, edge computing, AI platforms, or usage-based SaaS
- Experience building or scaling technical products
- Previous startup or founder experience
What we offer
- Meaningful co-founder equity
- The opportunity to help shape every major decision in the company
- Direct ownership of product, strategy, and execution
- The chance to build infrastructure for the next generation of the web
- A small team, ambitious goals, and very little bureaucracy
If this sounds like you…
