How does usage-based billing work?
Each plan includes monthly allowances for edge delivery, functions, builds, and content metrics. Usage beyond those allowances draws from your Pro included usage credit first, then bills on-demand at published rates. Hobby stays free within its included limits.
What counts toward the $20 Pro included usage credit?
The $20 monthly included usage credit is a flexible pool for metered usage: Edge Data Transfer, Function Requests, cache units, image transformations, and more. It applies automatically before on-demand charges.
Do rates vary by region?
Yes. On-demand rates differ by region. Published prices are ranges of base-region-equivalent units after regional multipliers. See the pricing docs for per-region tables.
Can I stay on Hobby forever?
Yes. Hobby is free with included limits for personal projects and early-stage apps, including 100 Standard build minutes per month. Upgrade to Pro when you need to keep building after that grant, or want team features and higher included usage.
Will pricing change on me?
We publish usage-based meters with included allowances. We'll communicate any pricing changes in advance.
What if I need SSO, SLAs, or custom contracts?
