How does usage-based billing work?
Each plan includes monthly allowances for edge delivery, functions, and content metrics. Usage beyond those allowances draws from your Pro monthly credit ($20) first, then bills on-demand at published rates. Hobby stays free within its included limits.
What counts toward the $20 Pro credit?
The $20 monthly credit is a flexible pool for any metered usage: edge bandwidth, function invocations, ISR, image transforms, and more. One credit equals one cent, so $20 equals 2,000 credits applied automatically before on-demand charges.
Do rates vary by region?
Yes. On-demand rates differ by deployment region (US East, Frankfurt, São Paulo). The usage table shows US East (IAD) as the baseline. Regional multipliers follow the same structure as leading edge platforms.
Can I stay on Hobby forever?
Yes. Hobby is free with generous included limits for personal projects and early-stage apps. Upgrade to Pro when you need team features, faster builds, or higher included usage.
Will pricing change on me?
We use the same usage-based structure as Vercel: transparent meters, no surprise enterprise upsells. We'll communicate any pricing changes in advance; we're built for predictable hosting, not vendor games.
