Custom domains and TLS on Easel

Your app should live on your domain, with certificates that renew without calendar reminders. Easel handles TLS provisioning and renewal once DNS is configured.

Add a domain

From project settings, add the apex or subdomain you want to serve. We show the exact DNS records to create — typically a CNAME for subdomains or A records for apex domains depending on your registrar. Custom domains serve your production deployment.

Verification

We verify ownership before issuing certificates. Most setups complete in minutes once DNS propagates. Status updates appear in the dashboard until the domain is active.

Apex and www

Add both the apex and www if you need them, then configure apex ↔ www redirects in project settings. Redirects run at the edge so they stay fast and do not hit your origin.

Wildcard hostnames (*.example.com) are not supported today; add each hostname you need. See the custom domains guide for the current setup steps.
