Developer Advocate

About Easel
Easel is a globally distributed PaaS with Vercel/Netlify-style developer experience, without hyperscaler lock-in or vendor games. Developers are our users and our best critics. This role exists to earn their trust in both directions.
About the role
You'll represent Easel in the developer community: shipping example apps, writing tutorials, showing up at meetups and online, and bringing user feedback straight back to the product team.
What you'll do
- Build sample projects and demos that show what Easel makes possible
- Write tutorials, blog posts, and docs that help teams get to their first deploy
- Present at meetups, podcasts, or conferences, or host office hours and live streams
- Gather feedback from users and translate it into clear product input for engineering
- Partner with design partners and early customers on case studies and launch stories
You might thrive if you
- You've been a developer advocate, solutions engineer, or technical PM at a dev tools company
- You can code enough to build credible demos (TypeScript, React, or similar)
- You're a strong communicator on stage, on camera, and in writing
- Bonus: existing audience in the deployment, edge, or open-source communities
What we offer
- Competitive salary and meaningful early-stage equity
- Remote-first with budget for travel to key events when it matters
- Real influence on product roadmap and developer experience
- A platform story that's genuinely differentiated, not another rebrand of the same pitch
If this sounds like you…
