Bulk environment variable import
You can paste an entire .env file into project settings and create many environment variables in one import instead of adding keys one at a time.
Import from a .env
Open Project settings → Environment Variables and choose bulk import. Paste KEY=value lines the same way you store them locally. Easel parses the block and creates matching entries for the environments you select.
Review the preview before you confirm. Fix typos in the paste, then import once. Secrets stay in settings; they never ship to the browser.
Steps
- Copy your
.envcontents from a trusted local file. - Open bulk import in environment variable settings.
- Paste, choose target environments, and confirm.
- Redeploy so builds and runtime pick up the new map.
Configure variables in Project settings → Environment Variables.
