Post-signup onboarding and GitHub connect

Sean DubbFounder, Easel.sh

New workspaces now walk you through connecting GitHub and creating a first project so you can reach a preview URL with less guesswork after signup.

After you sign up

Onboarding asks you to install or authorize the GitHub App, pick a repository, and create a project. Easel kicks off the first deploy so you land on a real preview hostname instead of an empty dashboard.

You can skip optional steps and return later from project settings if you need to reconnect GitHub or change the default repo.

Typical path

  1. Create a workspace after signup.
  2. Connect GitHub when prompted.
  3. Select a repository and confirm the project.
  4. Open the first preview URL from the deployment that finishes.

For the full flow, see Getting started. CLI users can also authenticate and manage projects from the terminal.
