Inspect deployments and logs

List and inspect Easel deployments, and query or follow request logs, from the CLI.

These commands use the linked project unless you pass a project. See Link a project.

List deployments

easel ls my-app

easel list --environment preview --status READY --limit 20

The output lists each deployment's ID, status, environment, branch, age, and URL.

Inspect a deployment

Inspect a deployment by ID or by its URL:

easel inspect dpl_1234567890

The output shows the deployment's status, target, source, URL, Git commit, aliases, and timestamps.

--waitWait until the deployment reaches READY, ERROR, CANCELLED, or SPUN_DOWN
--timeoutHow long --wait waits, such as 5m or 30s (default 3m)
easel inspect dpl_1234567890 --wait --timeout 5m --logs

Query request logs

easel logs shows recent requests for the project. Pass a deployment ID or URL to narrow it to one deployment. Without --since, it shows the last 24 hours.

Follow live traffic

easel logs --follow --expand --timeout 10m

For how far back you can query and how often --follow polls, see Observability limits. To search and filter requests in the dashboard, see Logs.
